Chad and Michelle Covin happily announce the birth of their son, Hunter Alan. He was born July 29, 2008 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. Hunter is welcomed home by his sister Avery of Colorado Springs, CO, grandparents Tom and Rose McCright of Kenedy and Chris and Rita Covin of Blanco, great-grandparent Mary Covin of San Antonio.

Today Pedernales Electric announced plans to end its relationship with Cattleman’s National Bank. The bank currently takes deposits for PEC’s Marble Falls, Dripping Springs, Johnson City and Headquarters offices; in 2007 that total was more than $238. 3 million, nearly 50 percent of the Cooperative’s annual revenue.
