RE/MAX of Texas held its annual state convention in Ft. Worth February 6-8th. There were several great speakers followed by the annual awards banquet. The Lifetime Achievement Award was given to three Texas RE/MAX agents at the event. The award represents a huge milestone in Robinson’s 15 year career and is based on commissions earned.

AUSTIN – Jackson Walker L.L.P. is pleased to announce the election of Austin attorney Chris B. Pepper to the firm’s partnership. Chris Pepper is now a partner in the Legislative and Environmental Practice Group. He has special expertise in TCEQ air quality and environmental permitting matters. He represents many industrial facilities in Texas, including cement kilns, rock quarries, chemical plants and steel mills.

Teresa Stahl and Robert Henry III “Tres” are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Trinity Faye Henry, born Monday, December 14, 2009, at 10:45 p.m. in San Antonio, TX at Stone Oak Methodist Hospital. Trinity weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 20.75 inches long. She is welcomed with love by her grandparents, Charles and Pauline Stahl of Blanco, TX, and Bob and Connie Henry of Blanco, TX, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Keylin and Yvette Merritt are proud to announce the birth of their baby girl, Bailey Lynn Merritt, born November 3, at 12:12pm in San Marcos. She weighed 7lbs and was 19 inches long. Blessed with this new addition to their families are grandparents, Steve and Cheryl Tamez of Blanco, Shelia and Daniel Higgins of Dimmitt, and Thomas and Gina Merritt of Blanco.
December 24, 2009 •Christmas Eve Service of Candlelight, Carols and Communion at New Hope Lutheran. December 24 at 5:30pm, New Hope Lutheran Chapel, 9th and Elm (one block west of Shamrock station). Pedernales Electric Cooperative will recycle natural, undecorated Christmas trees again this year. From December 28 to January 4, 2010, individuals may drop off their trees during regular business hours at PEC’s offices in Bertram, Canyon Lake, Cedar Park, Johnson City, Junction, Kyle, Lake Travis, Liberty Hill, Manchaca, Marble Falls and Oak Hill. This free service is part of PEC’s Green Works initiative and continued conservation efforts.
