Charmian Katherine Tracy of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Monday, July 12, 2010 at Mercy Hospital, Scott County, Waldron, Arkansas, at the age of 85. She was born on Friday, May 22, 1925 to Curt Charles and Helen Catherine DeLallier Calmbach of San Antonio, Texas. Charmian was baptized at the First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio by Pastor P.

Cheri Dawn Harwell, 83, passed away July 8, 2010 in Johnson City, Texas. A mother to all, a wonderful artist and dressmaker, she was a country girl raised in Alpine and Pipe Creek, Texas. She was married to career Air Force officer Sterling Harwell who loved her for all their 62 years together.
Lois S. McClintock passed away at age 91 on July 9, 2010 at the home of her daughter, Mary Park, in Blanco TX. She has resided for the past several years with her daughter, Martha Stine, in Lavaca County, near Hallettsville TX. Lois was born in Elkhart TX on September 4, 1918, to Allen and Alda Connell Starr.
Marilyn Lee Burke – von Steiger went home, July 5, 2010 at 1:30 A.M. from Blanco, TX. Marilyn lived life to it’s fullest each day. She was an inspiration to the countless people she met on her life’s journey. Her love of music, horses, and roses, along with the compassion she had for family, friends and all the people she ever met will always be her legacy. She was born in Galveston, TX, and grew up in Houston, TX.

Harold W. Musgrove passed away on June 23, 2010 at the age of 80. He was born on a farm on February 20, 1930 in Moscow Kansas, to Claty Musgrove and Stella (Hoskinson) Musgrove and grew up in Hugoton. He married Glenda Jean Toot of Liberal, KS in 1952 and were together over 54 years until she passed away in July 2006.
With a smile that lit up the room when he spotted family or friends, Walter Loeffler brought joy into the world for 92 years. Born April 24, 1918, in Chicago, IL, to Anna Catherine Spohr and Louis Loeffler, he slipped peacefully away in his own bed on June 11, 2010, surrounded by loving family and caregivers. Walter was raised in Oklahoma City, OK, the fourth of six children.

Debra Denise Mergele passed away last week in her Blanco, Texas home at the age of 52. As an Army brat she frequently moved around the country in her youth, but she lived in Blanco for the last 20 years. She worked as a veterinary technician most of the time she lived in Blanco, and was known for her kindness, laughter, and love of animals and gardening.
James H. Ashley, 81, of Kerrville, passed from this life in the caring hands of the professionals at the Kerrville VA Hospital on Saturday, June 19, 2010. He had an amazing sense of humor, was the life of any gathering, had a keen intellect, and a formidable strength of character. His life centered around his family. He was born in Sondheimer, LA on May 25, 1929, a day his Uncle Slim road a horse to death to fetch the town doctor.
Lillian Juanita Wideman, 84, passed away Sunday evening, June 20, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Lillian was born in Blanco, TX to Emil Edgar Uecker and Alma Spangenburg Uecker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Wideman, and her brother Gilbert “Pete” Uecker. Lillian is survived by three sons, James Douglas “Jim” Fairchild and wife Katy of Lake Hills, TX, Roy Allan Fairchild and wife Debbie of Grand Forks, ND, and Mark Dennis Fairchil ...
Ronald Paul Zunker was born on August 4, 1935 and passed away on June 21, 2010 at the age of 74. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Donna Jo Zunker, two daughters; Jo Zunker from Spicewood, Texas, Kay Schielack and husband Brad from La Grange, Texas and a son, Ronald Zunker, Jr.
