Billy Joe Stahl, Sr. passed away Tuesday, January 12 at the age of 78. He was born on November 26, 1931 in Stockdale, Texas. He attended grade school in Stockdale, then TMI in San Antonio and went on to graduate from Texas A&M in 1953. The next 23 years were spent in the service of his country in the US Air Force, during which he was an instructor at the Air Force Academy and an aircraft navigator in Vietnam, where he logged over 200 combat hours.

Doris Jean (Quinn) Hughes went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2010 in Gulfport, Florida, at the age of 72 after a brief battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Estelle Quinn, and her beloved husband, Ed E. Hughes, who died in July 2007.
Gerald Franklin Ward, Sr., age 64, passed away on January 5, 2010, at his home in Twin Sisters Estates, Spring Branch, TX. He was born April 13, 1945, in Frostburg, Maryland, to Howard Franklin Ward and Doris Emily (Stilwell) Ward. He was a public school teacher for many years. He is survived by one son, Gerry Ward, Jr.
Rowena Laura Armke Voges, born December 1, 1918, died January 8, 2010. Rowena was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Voges. She is survived by her brother, Freddy Armke of Hye, TX, her children, Jeanette Heimer, of El Paso, TX, and Erich Voges, of Leander, TX, as well as six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Rowena and her late husband, Wilbert, raised their family in San Antonio, TX.
Betty Helen Rhodes, age 83, passed away on January 3, 2010 at her home in Blanco. She was born on July 6, 1926 in Alamo, Texas to Leonard and Helen Davis. Betty worked as a secretary for a construction company, she worked at Head Start for 10 years and she worked with her daughter, Donna, at Better Days Consignment Shop in Blanco. Betty is survived by her husband, Malcolm Rhodes and four daughters, Marie Anderson of Alma, Arkansas, Barbara Gaiser of Garner, North Carolina, Mary Alice ...
Kimberly Maria Price-Stephenson, 52, formerly of Arlington, passed from this life Friday, January 1, 2010. Funeral: 3:30pm, Wednesday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8pm Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Memorials: Kim cared deeply about the Earth and requested that in lieu of flowers, friends and family plant a tree.

Arthur Woods passed away December 27, 2009 at the age of 86 years in Waco. He was born in Boerne on January 19, 1923 to Lemmer Viola Newman and Forrest Lee Woods. Arthur was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a carpenter in commercial construction. Arthur is survived by his son Art and wife Michelle of Hamilton, three daughters, Sharon and husband Marvin Meeks of Tyler, Jody Kay Brown and Mary Woods.
Chris Norris, 48, died Sunday, December 27, 2009, at his home in San Antonio. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Steigleder and step-father, Al of San Antonio, grandmother, Pearl Wood Greebon of Blanco, brother, Mike and wife Renee of Magnolia, Texas, brother, Greg and wife Donna of Spring Branch, nieces and nephew, Amanda, Gary, Brenda and husband, Justin Lehmann of College Station, and Carole.
Louise Virginia Felps, 92, passed away December 18, 2009, in Johnson City. She was born in Cypress Mill, TX, to Louis Wiedebusch and Amelia Gertsmann Wiedebusch. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, Alton Felps, infant daughter Rebekah Gayle Felps, nine brothers and sisters, and daughter-in-law, Kathy Felps.
