Paula was born on July 16, 1911, and passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010, at the age of 98. She was the daughter of Otto and Matilda Krause Scheel. On February 20, 1929, Paula married G.W. Zercher. Her husband of 72 years preceded her in death in December of 2001.

February 17, 2010

Amy Kate Boyce Pozniak, born on 7 July 1913 in Burnet, Texas, daughter of Emma Kate Engle Boyce and Jack Boyce, died on 9 February 2010 at the age of 96. Amy Kate was married to Francis L. (Rocky) Pozniak on 8 September 1934. They had been married 62 years at the time of his death in 1996.

Dolores (Dee) Bills went to join her Lord and Saviour on January 5, 2010 at the age of 67. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Bills, and sons Chris, Keith and Blake Woods. She leaves behind daughters, Lareia Haley, Cindy Daniels and Michelle Woods; sons, David and Bobby Woods; her sisters, Reni Sue Ranier, Doris Jean Myers and Pat Vassar; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many many great friends. She was a loving and caring ...
Lillian Anna Weber Cox went to be with the Lord on Monday February 8, 2010. She was born November 7, 1921 in Blanco, Texas to August and Olga Weber. She grew up there, graduating from high school in 1938. During WWII, she lived in New Branufels and worked at Randolf Field in San Antonio, doing her part for the war effort.

Shirley (Callison) Dunning, 80, St. Joseph, Missouri, formerly of Blanco County, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. Shirley was born on December 21, 1929, in St. Joseph, to Linville and Caroline (Dennie) Callison. She was a 1948 graduate of Benton High School, a member of First Christian Church of St.
Ura Inez Crawford Rust of San Antonio, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, died at Blanco Villa Nursing Home in San Antonio on Thursday, February 4, 2010, at the age of 92. She was the daughter of a pioneer Texas Hill Country family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Vernon A.

Ann Logan Craft passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. As difficult as it is for her family and many friends who loved her and are left to carry on, she would want us to honor her memory by living each day to the fullest in joyous respect for the life she led. She was born June 19, 1932 in Valdosta, GA and grew up in San Marcos, TX.
Clarence Emil Waxler, 86, moved on to be with his Lord and rejoin his family and friends in heaven January 27, 2010. He was born on October 29, 1923, in Hye, Texas, and lived in the Hill Country for 82 years before living in Poteet the last four. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ida Waxler, and his wife, Helen Joyce Armke. Clarence met Helen in 1952 while he was building the post office.

Nile Lynn Morris of Blanco, Texas passed away on January 23, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Nile was born July 30, 1932 in Orange County, California. He was a resident of Holtville for 18 years and graduated from Holtville High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo in California and was a member of the University football and rodeo teams.

Hayward Glenn Page passed away at home Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Glenn was born in Andulisa, AL, September 17, 1933 to his parents James and Gertrude Page. Mr. Page served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a Corporal. Glenn’s favorite past time was spending time and doing things with his grandchildren, gardening, working in the yard, fishing, watching football, playing dominoes, especially train, with his friends and family.
