Dear Editor: I just finished reading my Blanco newspaper.

What can I say about him except that he was a great man and my uncle. Gosh, I can remember when he taught my little brother how to release his anger by making arrow heads. I will always be grateful what he did for my cousin and my aunt.

Dear Editor, The Blanco County News` lack of coverage of the crisis resulting from PEC Board`s illegal and wasteful actions is most disappointing. Despite extensive coverage by Austin and San Antonio dailies, the News offers no reporting about the reprehensible state of affairs of our electric cooperative.

I want to begin this by saying that I stand behind Mark McMain 100 percent. There is not a soul in Blanco who hasn't been touched by Mark and the rest of the EMS team at one point or another. Mark has shown this town that he is willing to give up a lot of his family time by being at nearly EVERY emergency.
