Read article: Plane Crash in Austin Brings Trouble from Blanco County.
Lane Pearson of the American Red Cross tried to be consoling, but he had no information about the passengers on the crashed plane, and for Martha Mason of Blanco, whose best friend was on board, that wasn't good enough. She was one of the Blanco County Disaster Response Group volunteers playing the roles of family and friends in a plane-crash drill at Austin's airport Monday. As hours passed and the authorities still had no report on victims, the Blanco County group raised the pressure on them through anger, belligerent demands, and uncooperative behavior...just like real people would do under the circumstances.
