Wow! What a season!

I am just a spectator,

But I write this for a reason.

I have been there,

And the feelings I have felt inside,

The accomplishment, the anxiety,

And definitely the pride.

I want to say, I see a team full of spirit,

Just to start,

A team, with so much talent, but yet, most of all,

A team with tremendous heart.

School is about academics,

Which is a must to survive later in life, this day.

But sports teach respect, team work,

And the ability to accept what comes our way.

(Win or lose.)

This part I write to the seniors,

Who next year must move on to the greater things.

As you go to school, look around you

And enjoy what each day brings.

Whether it be football,

Or a classmate saying “Hi” in the hall.

Take time to remember, take in it all.

Now back to football, as I know right now, You live, breathe, and dream.

As one, as a team.

I know as a citizen of this great little town,

The 2008 Panthers are an exceptional group, hands down.

You boys make us all so very proud

Each time you travel to play.

We are all behind you, this with heart I say.

So go represent your school, your town, your love for the game,

And we as a community will also do the same.

As you travel, now and through your future ride,

Always keep so very close to your heart,

The memories, the special times,

And the true meaning of Panther Pride.
