Ines “Pepe” Rivera, 60, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at his home in Blanco. He was born on April 10, 1948 in Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico to Ines Rivera and Pascuala Hernandez.

Pepe was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Juan Rivera and sisters, Maria Ibarra and Juanita Trevino. He is survived by his son, Jose Alberto Rivera Hernandez of Mexico; brother, Jose Rivera of Blanco; and two sisters, both of Blanco, Martha Ruiz and Beatriz Guerrero. Pepe lived in Blanco for thirty-five years where he worked at Klepac Greenhouses for many of those years. Pall bearers are Sergio Perez, Roberto and Leo Ruiz, Juan M and Juan F Guerrero, and Luis Suarez.

Visitation was held at Crofts Funeral Home on Thursday, October 30 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a rosary beginning at 7:00pm. Funeral services were on Friday, October 31 at Crofts Funeral Home at 3:00pm. Burial was followed at the Blanco Cemetery.
