In its fourth year, Hill Country Praise is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, in the courtyard at Blanco United Methodist Church. This event began its tradition to provide greater fellowship within its own community of faith and community at-large. For the first time, we begin with a hamburger cook-off at 5:30p.m. and gathering music by former music directors, Linda and Ed Casburn. Immediately following, a short testimony of faith is given, and the night ends with a selection of gospel favorites from mother/daughter duo, Taylor-Weaver and Heather Dillard. They are gifted in music and have a heartfelt message of testimony. Please mark your calendar so that you don’t miss this very special evening in Blanco. Invite your friends, neighbors, and family, and bring along blankets and chairs. This activity is open and free to the public. Donations will be accepted at the door.
