BIG EVENT - our wonderful, knowledgeable Bernice West of Blanco had a birthday Saturday. She didn’t hesitate to let me know just how old she was and she also said she didn’t mind if I told my gentle readers as everybody probably knows anyway - she is 87! She told me Monday they had a party for her in the fellowship hall and a good time was had by all! Happy birthday again, Bernice!

There is lots of gossip floating around town, but since I am discreet, I am not going to mention any of it. You all probably have heard bits and pieces yourselves!!!

Don’t forget the Blanco Ranch Round-Up at Yett Park on September 27. There is also going to be the 150th Birthday Bash that Saturday morning from 10 until 3, with cake by Dorothy Troppy as well as lots of musicians and other surprises. Then stay on for the vendors, the ranch rodeo, and the dance!!! We are going to have some fun. And the money goes to a good cause, Yett Park!
