The Blanco Panther football team endures the heat with the start of the 2008 season. Two-a-days began Monday, August 4 at the high school practice field.

The Panthers 2007 season ended with a trip to Regionals and finished the year 11-2. They are ranked number one in district and number eighteen in the state for 2A.

The Pantherette volley ball teams also started two-a-days this week.

The Blanco Marching Band started their summer practices on Monday as well.
