• 38th Annual Ladies State Chili Championship of Texas. Lady cooks from all over the state compete for the title and show teams entertain the crowd. The men are invited to flex their muscles and strut their stuff in the 1st Annual Open Barbeque. Games, vendors, music and more! Admission is FREE. Proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Fun starts Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Girly Man Beauty Pageant. Camp Ranger is located at 2778 Ranch Road 32, Blanco, just 3 miles east of 281. 10a-10p.
