On July 14, Rusty Myer arrived at work at the Verizon building on Pecan Street to find that someone had spray painted two service vehicles and the building.

On the truck that Mr Myer’s drives, a large 420 was spray painted on the hood. The service van had received a blow to the windshield, shattering it. The vandals also spray painted on the side of the building, in approximately three foot letters, the name Lucy.

The Blanco Bowling Alley also received vandalism, having had their electricity cut off from the switch outside and also had obsencities spray painted in the same silver and black spray paint that was used on the Verizon building and vehicles.

Police are looking into the matter and hope to have suspects soon. If you have any information regarding this or other crimes, please call the Blanco Police Department at 830-833-4525.
