The fine folks at Super S Foods will once again get things started for this year’s Lavender Festival. They have teamed up with Y-100 country Radio from San Antonio to host a live broadcast from 4:30 to 6 pm in the parking lot with games and surprises. There will free snacks and soft drinks. Bring everyone out to try their luck at the prize wheel for concert tickets, t-shirts, CDs and more. The Lavender Festival will be giving away two Lavender Cookbooks also. So watch for the BBQ wagon and the Y-100 Truck in the parking lot on Thursday, June 12th and come join the fun!

The Lavender Festival takes place Saturday June 14 and Sunday June 15 from 9 am to 6 pm each day on the Blanco Courthouse Square. Plan to come out and visit the many vendor booths, the wine and beer tent, the food vendors, or plan to visit one of the demonstrations from the Speakers Pavilion in the Courthouse. There will music and lots of Lavender products.
