Janos Arnosky, of Blanco Boy Scout Troop 497, was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout Sunday, June 8th at a ceremony that took place at the Arnosky Family barn. The rank of Eagle is the highest achievement in scouting.

Scoutmaster Dr. John Weaver presented Janos with the award of Eagle Scout, and the ceremony was attended by about 50 friends and family members.

Janos and his family would like to thank the scouts and leaders of Troop 497 for their help, and thanks go to the Blanco United Methodist Church for sponsoring and supporting our Boy Scout Troop.
