Congratulations to Mrs. Priscilla Seals for her nomination and selection to the Texas Public Schools 2008 Media Honor Roll.

Media representatives from Texas newspapers, radio, and television stations have been selected to the 2008 Media Honor Roll by school districts across the State of Texas. Sponsored by the Texas Association of School Boards the Media Honor Roll program recognizes media representatives statewide who deserve recognition for fair and balanced reporting of news about public schools.

The criteria for this year’s honor roll selection included the media representative’s efforts in getting to know the superintendent and school board president; reporting on school news in a fair, accurate, and balanced manner; and giving a high profile to positive news about schools.

Blanco ISD wishes to express our gratitude and appreciation to Mrs. Seals for her balanced and accurate approach to sharing both the challenges facing our schools and the successes achieved by our teachers, students, and school board. Her responsible and exemplary nature of reporting aids our community in focusing on the goal of providing an effective and quality education for our children of Blanco.
