Congratulations to Chad and Mary Byrne. The couple married at the Blanco Church of Christ on Saturday, April 26 2008, with Brother Pete Wilson performing the ceremony. Family and friends were present to celebrate with them.

Chad is the grandson of Mr. Leroy Armke (deceased) and Mrs. Marjorie Armke of Blanco. His mother is Gloria Gay Armke (Blanco), father and stepmother - Raymond Byrne Jr. and Patricia Byrne and brother, Sonny Ray Byrne (San Antonio). Chad's sister, Kimberly, with daughter Laurali, came from Germany, where she is stationed in the US Army, to attend the wedding. The bride's mother, Mrs. Maria Sepulveda of San Antonio, Mary's daughter Samantha, brothers Jose and Angel with wife and son, and sister Nancy with husband Michael (of Pleasanton) all helped to celebrate the happy occasion. The reception was held in the "little house" with good food and much fun for all.

Chad is stationed in Jacksonville Florida where he is still training as a Search and Rescue Ranger in the US Navy. Mary attends St. Phillips College and plans to continue her education for one more year. At that time, the couple will travel together according to orders from the Navy.
