The Panthers traveled to Brady to hook up with District 5 AA Champions Hawley Bearcats for a warm-up game last Friday night.
Ross McCormick got the nod and went five innings, scattering three hits and striking out six to improve his record to 6-3 on the year.
Shane Klein was “The Man” at the dish, going four for five with two home runs and eight RBI’s.
McCormick and Chantell Young both had two hits. Blanco banged out 13 hits on the night.
Blanco with play Coahoma in the Area Play-offs in Sonora Friday at 7:30 and Saturday at noon.
The Panthers are now 21-9 for the year.
