Blanco Middle School’s Student Council is this week's "Community Star of the Week."

It sponsored a “Kiss a Pig” donation drive in order the raise money for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The drive raised over $ 300.00. Blanco Middle School teachers who kissed a pig were (L to R): Stephanie Taylor, Danielle Frei, and Brooke Kotfas. Thanks to John L. Dechert for donating the pig.
