The entire Blanco First grade was able to visit Sea World in San Antonio on Tuesday, April 22. It was a fantastic experience for all the students and their parents.
The day was special because it was closed to the public and open exclusively for groups from 9:30-1:30pm. The day was listed as "Instructional Field Experience" which included seeing: The Dolphin Cove, Sharks/The Coral Reef, the Seal and Sea Lion attraction, the Penguin Encounter, the Clydesdale horses, and a special Shamu educational presentation. None of the rides were open for the day since it was a day of exploring the animals at the park.
This special educational day is set aside for school groups and was a wonderful experience for some students who had never visited the park.
