One of my employers (and there are quite a few), Mrs. Julie Dill, Executive Director of the Blanco Chamber of Commerce, represented Blanco County in the Mrs. Texas International pageant 2 weeks ago in San Antonio. I wasn’t able to attend, but I am sure she won the hearts of everyone there with her platform as well as her snazzy black dress!
Has anyone seen the Blanco Flash around this week? I have!!!! Keep your eyes peeled.
We are hoping to hear soon that Bonnie and Jeff Holmes’ lovely poodle, Miss Marci, is in the family way. She will be a wonderful mother!
Caught another glimpse of Winston Moore over the weekend – all you ever get is a glimpse – he is one of the busiest men I have ever met!!!
I (along with our beloved editor) was delighted to spend a part of Friday with David Key and Armando Pena at Treetops Ranch. Lots of stories, lots of plants, lots of beauty – I love to go there!
Relay for Life, this year held in Johnson City, had a great turn-out and I am sure lots of money was raised for this noteworthy cause.
It was nice to see Howard Cox in town today. I don’t get to see him enough – he is another one with a whole lot of stories to tell!
The Blanco County Extension Education Homemakers is having their spring luncheon on Thursday at Gem of the Hills at 11:00AM. The food should be wonderful.
A big shout-out to Ron Zunker! We missed you and Donna on Sunday.
