The Bulverde/Spring Branch Area Chamber of Commerce is planning a gala celebration for their business partners and the community on Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Webster’s Dictionary gives the definition of Mardi Gras as “…a day of merrymaking and carnival, as in New Orleans…” Although Mardi Gras usually means the celebration period leading up to and ending with the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday, the Chamber has a different idea. The Chamber is having a Signature Event - Pardi Gras in the Hills - our own carnival type celebration with fun music, great food, Mardi Gras masks and beads!

Preparations have begun with menu and music planning; decorations are being crafted. There will be a silent auction at the event and businesses are invited to donate an item or gift certificate. This is a wonderful opportunity for your business to be recognized. Please contact the chamber office if you would like to donate an item or gift certificate.

The event will be held at the Vintage Oaks Amenity Center on Hwy 46. Tickets are $35 per person and are available at the Chamber Office and website, Allegra Print & Imaging, American Bank of Texas, Bulverde Hills Dental, Kathleen Banse State Farm, and Southerland Properties.

Contact the Chamber office for information or silent auction donations at 830-438-4285 or check the website at www.bulverdespringbranch chamber.com.
