The County Clerk’s office is currently accepting applications to vote by mail. Individuals who will be absent from the county on the day of the election or are over the age of 65 or disabled are eligible to vote by mail and may contact the County Clerk’s office at 830-868-7357 about obtaining an application to vote by mail.

The last day to apply for a ballot by mail is February 23, 2010.

Early voting in person will start February 16, 2010 in the Blanco County Commissioner’s Courtroom and will run through February 26, 2010. Early voting will also take place on Saturday, February 20, 2010 in Johnson City at the Blanco County Commissioner’s Courtroom from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and again on Sunday, February 21, 2010 in Johnson City at the Blanco County Commissioner’s Courtroom from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Primary Election Day is March 2, 2010.

If there is a runoff in the primary, it will be held April 13, 2010.
