Junior Varsity Teams Bring It

The Junior Varsity girls recorded an exciting win over Harper 29-27. Mishelle Calzoncit dropped in 11 points to lead the Panthers. Raini Romero sank 8 and Susannah Campbell fired 29 points through the hoops for Blanco. Mishelle added 5 and Raini made 4.

The Lady Panthers continue district play this week against Cole and next week against Randolph and Comfort.

The Junior Varsity boys got the win over Harper 39-36. TJ Hardin pumped in 11 points. James Perez tallied 7 points and Tyler Noah dropped in 6 points.

Against Johnson City, the Freshman and JV boys’ squads won runaway victories 65-13 and 47-24. Ian Ray scorched the nets for 25 points. Colton Childress pumped in 18 and Chad Marshall added 10. For the JV Jordan Handberry led the squad with 11 points. Braden Batey dropped in 10 points and James Perez sank 8.
