•Christmas Eve Service of Candlelight, Carols and Communion at New Hope Lutheran. December 24 at 5:30pm, New Hope Lutheran Chapel, 9th and Elm (one block west of Shamrock station). Everyone in the community is invited to attend.

December 31 and January 1, 2010

•”Ring Out the Old ~ Ring In the New” Chili Cook-Off Dinner and Dance at Yett Park. Open to the Public; Cook or Judge. Benefits The American Legion. Concession Booth open both days selling food and drinks. Thurs, Dec 31: beans, chili, chicken, pork ribs, margaritas; awards, raffle drawings, music, fireworks.
