•Panther Pep Rally: Starts at 6:00pm on Thursday, December 3 in the football stadium parking lot. Boosters will supply hot dogs and you can bring your own food and drinks. If it rains, pep rally will be held in the high school gym. If you need a ride to the game, tickets for a charter bus are being sold at DirtWorks for $15. Tickets must be purchased in person at 101 Rolling Hills Rd. Bus leaves at 4pm on Friday, December 4.

•The Blanco County Community Choir invites the community to Christmas concerts of all-American music this weekend: Friday, Dec 4 at 8:00pm at Community Church of the Hills in Johnson City and Sunday, Dec 6 at 7:00pm at First Baptist Church in Blanco. The featured soloist is Sherri Stockman singing “I Wonder as I Wander,” “Rise up Shepherds and Follow,” and “Amen.” Other selections include the Appalachian songs, “Jesus the Christ is Born,” and “Jesus, Jesus Rest Your Head,” and carols in the Shaker and Moravian styles as well as traditional favorites.
