Have you checked out the latest buzz in the Hill Country? There is a new place to shop that will keep you from having to brave the big malls and super saving marts in the big city.

Rustic River Market Shoppes opened the original location in June 2009 in Spring Branch. Located at the Adobe Village, owner Michelle Wertheim started a vendor shoppe, featuring local vendors with new and exciting merchandise.

Carrying everything from clothing, handbags, jewelry and Yellow Box shoes to candles, crosses and gifts.

Adobe Village was the perfect location because of its relaxed atmosphere and convenient amenities including the Casa del Parque Art Gallery, Riposa Wine Bar and Bistro, Tuscany Italian Grill and Rodeo de Jalisco Mexican Restaurant; and you can still find time to stroll through the oak covered landscaped gardens.

Now, Michelle and her mother, Suzanne Wertheim, are bringing that same shopping experience to Blanco. Rustic River Market Shoppes will have a second location right here in town at 307 4th Street (next to Papa Joeys).

They are bringing some of the same vendors and a whole group of new ones so that you have the same quality merchandise in a whole new setting.

Rustic River will be open six days a week for your convenience and you will be welcomed into a friendly shopping atmosphere. Yet, you will find fun, funky fantastic fashions and gift shopping.

Rustic River will have its doors open for business on Friday, November 27 at 10:00am. Black Friday seemed to be a good day to open because of the holiday festivities going on at the Courthouse Square.

So before you head over to see the Courthouse lighting, parade and vendors, come over to Rustic River and stroll through the newest shop in Blanco.

They will have refreshments, all new merchandise and free gifts to all the shoppers for the first weekend.
