Blanco loses 3-2 to Comfort

The Panthers traveled to Comfort last week and came away with their first district loss.

Ross McCormick started on the hill and went the distance as he scattered even hits and k'd four but gave up two unearned runs to the Bobcats.

Offensively, the Panthers struggled at the plate with only five hits and six strike outs.

McCormick was two for three. Kevin Gray, Lance Gottardy, and Shane Klein all had singles.

Blanco defeats Mason 11-4

Justin Warner got the balls against Mason and improved to 5-1 on the year.

The Panthers opened up the game in the sixth with six runs to put the scrappy Punchers away 11-4.

Kevin Gray was three for four with a triple and two RBI’s. Lance Gottardy and John Pepper had two hits. Shane Klein hit a solo blast. Justin Warner and Ross McCormick each had singles.

Blanco is 14-9 on the year and 4-1 in district play.

Blanco will host Sonora friday 4:30/7:00
