The Blanco County Master Gardeners’ Association will be holding a plant sale as part of the Johnson City Wildflower Festival on April 19 and 20. The plant sale booth will be set up in Memorial Park on Highway 290.

In addition to a wide array of native and other landscaping plants, there will also be “specialists” on hand to answer horticultural and landscaping questions. These specialists are either Blanco County Master Gardeners with special training or professional knowledge regarding their specific topic or guests with career or professional experience with their specific topic.

The schedule of time for each topic and specialist is listed below.

April 19 (Saturday)

9:00 – 11:00 Pruning Techniques and Applications - Loris Perkins

11:00 – 1:00 Landscaping with Native Grasses - Susan Hamm

1:00 – 3:00 Principles and Practices of Hill Country Land Stewardship - Todd Swift, Blanco County Extension Agent
