The Blanco Cemetery has been certified as historic by the Texas Historical Commission and will now proudly display a medallion proclaiming the same. Everyone is invited to come to the cemetery on April 12 at 2PM for an event featuring music, as well as speeches by Jesse McCrocklin’s descendant John McCrocklin, Frances Alexander descendant Dorothy Dillon, and Charlie Haydon, who speak on William Blackwell’s Minute Men Rangers.
