Ever thought of going in to business growing grapes, peaches, tomatoes, watermelons, pecans or other horticultural crops? The Texas AgriLife Extension Service – Blanco County invites you to participate in a two-part webinar series, focusing on Small Acreage Horticultural Crops.

The goal of these programs is to assist in identifying and evaluating diversification strategies for risk mitigation and improved economic sustainability based on total management goals and optimal resource-base use.

Each webinar in the series will last for approximately two hours and will feature information on: requirements for setting up a new horticultural business, crop economics, marketing strategies, sustainable production practices and more.

A live question/answer session will also provide access to some of the state’s leading horticultural authorities in these areas.

We will also be hosting a live webinar broadcast at the Blanco County Courthouse Annex building located at 200 N. Ave G in Johnson City. To register, or for additional information please contact the Texas AgriLife Extension Service, Blanco County office at 830-868-7167. We ask that you register by Monday, November 16 at 5:00pm.
