Suspects get away with an undisclosed sum
Officers from Blanco Police Department, the Blanco County Sheriff’s Department, FBI and the Texas Rangers investigate the scene on Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday, October 21 at approximately 7:00am, three armed men broke into the Security State Bank on Highway 281 in Blanco, restrained two bank employees and made away with an undisclosed sum of money.

The men, reportedly wearing ski masks, are described as being Hispanic, and about 5’ 5” tall.

The Blanco Police Department and Blanco County Sheriff’s office responded to the alarm. Shortly thereafter, the FBI and Texas Rangers were on the scene.

So far, there have been no arrests made.

New Blanco Police Chief, Milton Willman, stated that his office is working with the FBI and the Rangers on this case and they do have some leads.

When Blanco County News contacted Security State Bank, Branch Manager Ronnie Sultemeier stated, “Due to the ongoing investigation, we are unable to comment at this time.”
