George William Ludolf, age 89, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Born on November 20, 1919 in a log cabin built by his grandfather in Kendalia, Tx, he was the son of William Edward Ludolf and Olga Alma Kneupper Ludolf. George attended Curry’s Creek School in Kendalia and at an early age began working with his father on the family farm. Later he served in the US Army during WWII and upon returning from service devoted his entire life to farming and ranching, which he dearly loved.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Corinne Hymel Ludolf. He is survived by one son Neal Ludolf and wife Jessiann of Kendalia, sister, Josephine Ludolf Lawhon of Kendalia, two grandsons, two great-grandsons, and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, October 17, at 2:00pm at Edge Cemetery in Kendalia with Military Honors.

Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Crofts Funeral Home of Blanco.
