• Fire Alarm. 1:21 PM. Live Oak.

• Noise Complaint. 9:48 PM. Loud music was reported at C.J’s.

• Disturbance. 10:03 PM. A verbal disturbance at Dairy Queen was reported.

• Reckless Driver. 11:54 PM. US 281 (with Blanco Co. SO).

Mar 21

• Animal Complaint. 8:13 AM. A black dog reportedly tried to attack two individuals in the caller’s yard.

• Noise Complaint. 2:38 PM. Kids were reportedly knocking on the library’s windows.

• Animal Complaint. 6:08 PM. Call transferred to Llano County.

• Disturbances. 8:11 PM. A fight was reported between two subjects at a residence. Both were arrested.

• 911 Hangup. 9:15 PM. A subject reportedly pulled a knife on the caller and then left the scene.

• Assault. 11:24 PM. Two subjects were reportedly injured from a fight.

• Reckless Driver. 11:28 AM. A vehicle was reportedly driving in and out of traffic.

• Accidental Injury. 3:24 PM. A child was reportedly backed into by a vehicle. The injuries were reported minor.

• Alarm. 9:08 PM. Blanco Valley.

• Alarm. 11:02 AM.

• Burglary. 11:10 AM. A caller reported missing money.

• Reckless Driver. 12:02 PM. SUV on US 281.

• Verbal Disturbance. 4:09 PM. A caller requested an officer to handle a problematic customer.

Mar 25

• Minor Traffic Accident / Hit and Run. 9:28 PM. A vehicle reportedly hit a customer’s car at Super S and left the area.

• Traffic Accident. 12:06 PM. 4th and Elm.

• Alarm. 4:53 PM.

• Water Leak. 10:11 PM. A fire hydrant at 3rd and Mesquite was reportedly leaking water all over the road.

Blanco County Sheriff’s Office Reports

These reports were filed between Mar 23 and Mar 26.

Mar 23

• Loose Livestock. 5:24 PM. A longhorn was reportedly loose on CR 101. The longhorn was in a free range area.

Mar 20

• Motorist Assist. 2:10 AM. A caller was confused about his location.

• Livestock Complaint. 8:11 AM. Two horses reportedly busted down a fence and were on the caller’s property.

• Harassment. 11:02 AM. A caller reported phone harassment.

• Minor Traffic Accident. 11:22 AM. A vehicle hit a parked truck in a construction zone on US 281, north of Blanco. Two 18-wheelers reportedly clipped their mirrors and the drivers were blaming each other.

• Minor Traffic Accident. 12:00 PM. A vehicle reportedly drove through a gate during the night.

• Major Traffic Accident. 12:23 PM. An 18-wheeler and a truck collided on Loop 163 at US 281. The roadway was partially blocked (with Texas DPS).

• Animal Complaint. 1:25 PM. A caller reported neglected dogs.

• Reckless Driver. 1:46 PM. The 911 operator received multiple calls about a blue truck on US 281. Comal County located the vehicle, which was now on the shoulder with its flashers on; the driver stated that he was lost (with Texas DPS).

• Disturbance. 1:50 PM. An individual reportedly would not leave the caller’s home. The individual did leave but the caller wanted to speak with an officer.

• Suspicious Person. 1:55 PM. A caller reported a vehicle on US 281, heading south from Johnson City. An officer was unable to locate the vehicle.

• Information. 4:32 PM. A caller notified the Sheriff’s Office that he damaged a fence the night before.

• Loose Livestock. 5:19 PM. A cow was out on RR 165.

• Disturbance. 10:33 PM. A caller reported a domestic disturbance between two individuals.

Mar 21

• Traffic Accident. 1:02 AM. One vehicle reportedly ran into a guardrail along US 281, 2 miles south of the Red Eye. StarFlight and a wrecker were requested (with Texas DPS).

• Prisoner Transfer. 4:36 AM. One subject transferred to TDCJ.

• Arrest. 9:13 AM. One subject transported from Comal County.

• Prisoner Transfer. 12:17 PM. Two inmates picked up from Comanche County.

• Welfare Concern. 2:00 PM. A neighbor found water running in the yard and a dead goat in the barn. The caller was concerned about the owner, if the owner was still living there. An officer reported that the house was vacant.

• Traffic Accident. 4:54 PM. US 281, north of Round Mountain.

• Suspicious Person. 6:00 PM. A caller reported a vehicle parked on the side of the intersection of US 1323 and US 281.

• Suspicious Activity. 6:33 PM. A vehicle reportedly dumped beer bottles on the caller’s property.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 8:45 PM. A caller received a suspicious call from Verizon. The officer reported that it was legitimate.

• Animal Complaint. 9:25 PM. A dog was reportedly barking and keeping the caller awake.

Mar 22

• Followup. 12:53 AM.

• Loose Livestock. 9:15 AM. A bull was reported on the side of RR 32.

• Followup. 12:21 PM. A subject was scheduled to meet with a deputy.

• Suspicious Person. 6:57 PM. Officers patrolled area to look for subject.

• Animal Complaint. 7:45 PM. Subjects reportedly put a deer out of its misery. An officer issued a warning.

Mar 23

• Loose Livestock. 2:55 PM. A donkey was reported on 962. It was put into the pasture.

Mar 24

• Possible Theft / Suspicious Person. 12:11 AM. One subject was arrested in the Super S parking lot for burglary of a coin-operated machine. Johnson City PD and DPS assisted in the call.

• Theft. 9:06 AM. A dog was reportedly stolen from the caller’s truck.

• Information. 10:04 AM. A subject wouldn’t allow the caller onto the property to collect belongings.

• Prisoner Transfer. 11:01 AM. Two inmates transferred to Comal County.

• Information. 12:08 PM. A caller reported information about a subject.

• Burglary of Habitation / Theft. 6:47 PM. A caller was scheduled to meet with a deputy but did not call or show.

• Traffic Hazard. 8:45 PM. A stop sign at RR 2766 and RR 3232 was reportedly turned the wrong way; the caller asked an officer to fix it to prevent accidents.

• Suspicious Person / Welfare Check. 9:03 PM. A person was reportedly walking a black and white dog down the middle of RR 3232. An officer reported that everything was OK; the subject was just walking.

• Possible Road Hunting / Discharge of Firearm / Poaching. 9:43 PM. Two shots were heard on RR 165. An officer was requested to respond to possible poaching (with Texas Parks & Wildlife).

Mar 25

• Motorist Assist. 7:43 AM. An RV reportedly had a blowout on US 281, south of Round Mountain, and was partially blocking the road.

• Traffic Hazard. 10:19 AM. A caller almost hit a roll of wire on US 281, north of Johnson City.

• Criminal Mischief. 10:41 AM. A mailbox on Kendalia Rd. was reportedly completely smashed.

• Fraud. 10:58 AM. The 911 operator referred the call to Justice of the Peace Riley.

• Animal Welfare Check. 5:20 PM. A horse reportedly looked undernourished. An officer reported that all the animals looked healthy.

Mar 26

• Arrest Warrant. 8:11 AM. One subject arrested.

• Animal Complaint. 10:10 AM. The caller believed horses were not being properly maintained.

• Traffic Control. 10:29 AM. PEC requested assistance on US 290 West.

• Illegal Dumping. 4:58 PM. A caller reported 700 to 800 illegally dumped tires off RR 2325.

• Noise Complaint. 7:50 PM. A neighbor was reportedly playing loud music.

• Traffic Accident. 4:14 PM. One-vehicle accident on US 281 (with Blanco Co. SO).

Mar 21

• Traffic Accident. 4:02 PM. Two motorcycles reportedly had an accident at the intersection of RR 32 and 473 East.

• Traffic Accident. 11:23 PM. A vehicle reportedly had a blowout on US 290 at RR 1320 and hit the Sandy sign. The responding officer found a highly intoxicated and unresponsive subject in the vehicle. EMS took the subject to Fredericksburg.

Mar 22

• Arrest on View. 11:03 PM. One subject arrested on US 281, 5 miles south of Blanco.
