Trash-Off Day Just Ahead

Blanco residents are reminded that the city’s 9th Annual Trash-Off is set for Saturday, April 5. Hours will be 8 am to 12 noon. Discarded items may be brought to the city yard located on Jones Avenue next to the Recycling Center. Just about anything will be accepted, including furniture, TVs, stoves, air conditioners, etc. Tires, paint, batteries, and anything harmful to the environment will not be accepted.

Boy Scouts and church groups, along with other volunteers, are asked to meet at 8:30 am on the southeast corner of the courthouse on April 5.

Anyone needing assistance to have their items removed, should call City Hall at 833-4525.

The 2nd Annual Blanco River Clean-up is also taking place on April 5. If you have a canoe or would just like to help, call Martha Gosnell at 833-0586.

The City of Blanco, joining with Keep Blanco Beautiful, urges everyone to join in.
