County Extension Agent - Agriculture

On Thursday, March 20th, Texas AgriLife, Extension Service will sponsor a fruit tree pruning demonstration presented by Blanco County Master Gardener Loris Perkins. The program will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will be held at Bill Fojtasek’s Orchard. This program will offer 2 hours of CEU credit for persons needing education units for a private applicators license. Directions to Mr. Fojtasek’s place are: RR 165 from Blanco, turn right on Chimney Valley Rd (CR 407) go 2 miles to Wilcox Rd and turn right into the Fojtasek place. Todd Swift, County Extension Agent, Blanco County, will present information on Orchard Care and Pest Management for the upcoming growing season.
