Blanco defeated San Saba 16-4 in the opening game. Justin Warner picked up his first win of the year going five innings striking out seven and scattering five hits.

The Panthers banged out 17 hits in five innings. Ethan Evans was four for four with two RBI’s, Lance Gottardy and Kevin Gray both had three hits, Gray knocked in five runs, Chantell Young, Shane Klein, and Shelby Moore all had two hits, Moore homered.

Blanco defeated Junction 12 -4. Lance Gottardy was the winning pitcher; going seven strong innings, striking out seven and giving eight hits to pick up his first win of the year. Shane Klein and Kevin Gray had two hits each, and Gottardy knocked in two runs.

Blanco lost to San Saba 14-4. Michael Cummings, Keaton Dodd and Shane Klein all saw action on the bump, Cummings took the loss. Justin Warner and Lance Gottardy each had three hits.

Blanco advanced to the finals and lost to Grape Creek 17-3. Shane Klein, Kevin Gray, Cory Dowlearn, Ethan Evans, and Tyler Irie all saw action on the mound against a good Grape Creek squad. Blanco sticks failed to click as they only had six hits on the night.
