June 3-5, 2009

•CTMC is accepting applications for Camp HeartSong, a special bereavement camp for children who have experienced the death of a family member or significant loved one. Dates are June 3-5 and will be held in Fischer, TX at John Knox Ranch. Children must be between the ages of 8-17 years old. This camp is free and all meals are included. •The Second Act Troupe returns to Blanco with another comedy production on Saturday, June 6 at 7:30 pm in the Learning Center Theatre in the School District Administration Building (814 11th Street). Two one act plays will be performed – A Little Something for the Ducks and After the Ball. Tickets are $12 at the Blanco Chamber office. You can purchase tickets from 9am to 1pm on Monday to Friday, June 1 to 5, or by calling 512-618-3355 for reservations at any time.

•Free Lunches And Breakfast For Kids 1-18: Breakfast served from 7:30 to 8:00am, each day at Blanco Elementary and High School. Lunch served at noon. All kids are welcome!

•Blanco State Park – National Get Outdoors Day – Kick off the summer by joining us for a national day of outdoor fun! Kayaking and canoeing classes, Fishing with a Ranger, trail hikes and outdoor games will all be available for free with a day entrance into the park. 9:00am – 3:00pm. •Hill Country CattleWomen will meet June 16 at Ft. McKavett State Historical Site in Fort McKavett, Texas. The cost is $15.00 for the catered lunch and tour of the Fort. Reservations (please no later than June 9) to Beverly at 830-229-5604. For more information you may call the number listed.
