Lena Grace Hobbs, 90, a resident of Johnson City all of her life, passed away Tuesday the 26th of May, 2009 at LBJ Medical Center.

She took such pride in keeping her house and cooking for her family. Later in life she loved her church and the long time friends in her Sunday School Class.

Her husband, Nathan Hobbs, preceded her in death as well as her parents, Otellia and Lisle Page, and her brothers, Uncas, Jessie, Homer, and Eddie Page.

She is survived by one sister, Mary Lou Darity and husband Marty Darity of Buford, SC.

She is also survived by her daughter, Pat Hobbs Woods and husband Alvin of San Antonio; two grandchildren, Rue Ann Dunn and husband Larry and Tim Woods and wife Kim, all of San Antonio; five great grandchildren, Kaitlin Woods, Jacob Woods, Ethan Woods, and Addison Woods, all of San Antonio and Paige Dunn of Friendswood, TX.

Visitation was 5:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Crofts Funeral Home, Johnson City where funeral services were held at 10:00am Friday, May 29, 2009.

Interment followed in the Masonic Cemetery, Johnson City. Pallbearers were Timothy Woods, Jacob Woods, Larry Dunn, Jerry Hobbs, Bruce Hobbs, and E.J. Hobbs.
