The Blanco County Master Gardeners would like to invite you to attend a presentation on Tuesday, February 12th at 7:00 p.m. by Certified Arborist Bo Masters. The presentation will be held at the First Baptist Church in Johnson City.

Masters’ presentation will focus on the seasonal care of trees and shrubs with special emphasis on pruning, discussing timing and the use of proper tools and techniques.

Bo Masters is a native Texan. He grew up in a small cotton farming town in Rockwell County in northeast Texas. He has always had an interest in nature and after graduating from college, spent several years studying the local flora and fauna in Central America. It was there that he discovered his love for trees. Bo returned to Texas and studied under the direction of the celebrated and renowned Registered Consulting Arborist Don Gardner. Under Gardner’s instruction, Bo not only learned to properly care for and honor trees, but he was able to add his artistic and creative talent to the mix.

The presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church. First Baptist Church is located at 102 N. Ave. F - at the intersection of Ave. F and Highway 290 W. Enter Fellowship Hall from the Ave. F entrance.
