The second annual LBJ 100 Bike Tour will be Saturday, March 28 at the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park LBJ Ranch District near Stonewall. The public is invited to participate. The ride is jointly hosted by: Friends of LBJ National Historical Park, Hill Country Bicycle Tours Club, Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park, and Western National Parks Association. The ride benefits the Friends of Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park for improving the park visitor experience.

Luci Baines Johnson will officially start the 32, 45, and 62-mile (100 kilometer) rides at 9:00am from the runway behind the Texas White House. The longer rides will continue north of the ranch in Gillespie County. Three rest stops will provide water and snacks for riders.

At 11:00am, Ms. Johnson will lead an easy 10-mile history ride around the ranch with stops at various historic locations and stories about her parents, Lyndon and Lady Bird Johnson and their life on the Pedernales River.

Cost for any of the rides is $30 before March 14, and $40 after that date. Register at www.lbj100bicycletour.org or call 830-868-7128, ext. 244 for more information.
