The Women - This is a movie that a lot of people were looking forward to seeing, only to be completely disappointed. There are a ton of great actresses in this movie like Meg Ryan, Eva Mendes, Jada Pinkett Smith, Debra Messing, and Bette Midler. You’d think with such a great cast, the movie would be great too. None of the actresses were believable in their performances. Jada Pinkett Smith didn’t pull off her character well, nor Debra Messing as a mom with multiple children. And I don’t know what Meg Ryan did to her face with botox, but when she smiles she looks just like Jack Nicholson when he played the joker in Batman. Everyone overacted and the story was not interesting enough to keep my attention. I ended up fast forwarding through part of the movie. I was really disappointed in this movie, so if you are like me and saw all of the actresses and thought, “What a great movie” don’t bother, you’ll be really disappointed! 1 paw.

Death Race is a flat out eye candy, raucous, exploding good time for all you guys out there and a few of you ladies that like guy movies. Jason Statham plays the man wronged into prison for his driving skills so he can be used for ratings in the futuristic race where the worst criminals behind bars battle it out in iron clad, weapon equipped cars and trucks. The winner gets freedom and the losers, more often than not, get their sentences reduced on the track, by way of a body bag… bring it on!!! Get ready for a fun ride.3 paws
